24x18 in ~ Painting, Oil
To feel the rumble of falling water and the mist in my hair, I hiked almost a mile into the forest of ancient giant sequoias to paint this scene, carrying a backpack of paint and supplies. Perched on a mossy rock the size of a Volkswagen I painted the falling water for an hour or two, then continued on the narrow rocky path to meet the other pleinair painters for a well deserved lunch.
