While painting what I thought would be an abstract piece, I found myself humming an old song "How do you mend a broken heart?" I started seeing a woman take form...wearing a red dress and obviously in Paris. But it took a talented friend to show me that I had painted my own story. Her heart was broken in Paris but mended with kintsugi ...stronger with pure gold.
